Welcome to the Blue Cord Bible Dictionary!

The Blue Cord Bible Dictionary is a Bible wiki. A wiki is a site where numerous people are able to contribute freely to the content of the pages. Unlike standard wikis, however, the Blue Cord Bible Dictionary is a wiki written only by biblical scholars. In order to contribute to this site, scholars must hold a master's degree or higher in the field of biblical studies or a related field such as archaeology, classics, Egyptology, or Assyriology.

The categories to the left will allow you to browse the entries. These pages list the entries in no particular order, so if you know the topic you want to read, the search feature is your easiest way to find a page.

This wiki was begun in April 2006, so obviously we are only in the beginning stages. If you see a link that has a question mark next to it, it means that page has been created but not written. You will not be able to access those pages until one of the contributors adds information to it.

If you are interested in a particular topic, please contact us and we will try to put those pages up as quickly as possible.

If you are interested in becoming a contributor to the Blue Cord Bible Dictionary, please contact Kevin A. Wilson, the director of the project.
